Musical Prowess

I've realized that the best bands are diverse not necessarily in style, but in rhythm, texture, feel and harmony. A good band is capable of maintaining a unique style, but are usually incapable of expressing certain emotions and breaking out of their comfort zone. This inevitably causes them to sound similar to all their other songs. That's my thought on it.
