Does talent potential exist? Is there really a point where someone cant improve any further? Travis once said that he tries not to think about it. This is probably the best solution to prevent further misery, but it's been an unanswerable question that I consistently think about (and it's not a good thing). On one side, I see musicians work all their lives, to fulfill a dream; that is, to play music as a living. Unfortunately, their goal was never reached. Is this due to their talent deficiencies, or their inability to correct flaws which are plaguing their careers? On the opposite end of the spectrum, I see bands such as the Arctic Monkeys and Explosions in the Sky. Is their success due to their talent potential, or the amount of effort, and insight of their flaws that forge their own success?
If I fail, like the majority of all musicians, I will be living off of mediocre wages for the rest of my life, while attempting to refine my art. I might even quit. On the other hand, if I succeed, I'll be able to live out my dream, and benefit both myself and my listeners.
I'll keep on trying, and that's all I have to say. It's a scary thing to think about.

(b.t.w, explosions in the sky rocked)
